About Me

Sharon Court is a registered counsellor who brings a calm, grounded presence to her work with individuals, couples, and families. She supports clients experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, and emotional overwhelm, helping them regain clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of stability.

With more than 20 years of people-focused experience across law, healthcare, disability, aged care, justice, and community settings, Sharon combines real-world insight with a warm, steady approach that helps clients feel safe and understood. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Politics, a Graduate Diploma of Counselling, and is currently completing a Master of Counselling, integrating strong theoretical foundations with practical, compassionate care.

Sharon is a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia (CCAA). Her work is grounded in ethical, client-centred practice and ongoing professional development. She is respectful of each client’s values and beliefs and, where relevant and welcomed, can integrate faith-based perspectives as part of a broader therapeutic approach.

Known for her thoughtful, collaborative style, Sharon works at a pace that feels comfortable for each client, helping them explore their experiences, build on strengths, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful, lasting change.
